Pick a scenario — or write your own in a sentence — and talk it through out loud with an AI character who stays in character and pushes back. Is Rehearse free? What does it cost?

Free to start, no card needed. Every rehearsal uses credits: 1 a minute for voice, 5 a minute with the face. Add one-off credit packs any time — they never expire — or subscribe and credits are added every month. Cancel any time in your store settings.

What is the business model?

Credits and subscriptions only. We never sell your data, never train models on your transcripts and never show ads. The point is a sustainable app that respects the people using it.

How is Rehearse different from a course, a book or a chatbot?

Three ways. First, it is spoken, not typed: you practise the actual words, out loud, with your actual nerves. Second, the other side pushes back like the real thing: get vague and they press, be clear and fair and they soften. Third, the feedback comes from a rubric you can see — clarity, empathy, assertiveness and structure, each out of five, with the moments that earned or lost points quoted from your own transcript.

What does the face-to-face mode add?

A lip-synced person on screen who listens and reacts while you talk — you see the eyebrow go up when you soften the message. It costs 5 credits a minute; voice only is 1 credit a minute and is otherwise the same conversation. Credits never expire.

How is a rehearsal scored?

Four skills, each out of five: clarity, empathy, assertiveness and structure. The score out of 100 is built from a rubric you can see, and the feedback quotes the exact moments from your transcript that earned or lost points — two things that landed, one thing to try next. Leave with a plan, not a verdict.

Who am I talking to?

A character written for the scenario — Jordan, your dismissive senior manager, for example — with a voice, a temperament and goals of their own. In face-to-face mode a lip-synced avatar reacts while you speak; in voice mode you hear them only. Either way they stay in character until you hang up.

Can I track my progress?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every session lands in your history with its score, and Insights shows your average score, sessions, practice time and the categories you practise most, by week, month or 90 days. The home screen keeps a streak and a confidence level that climbs with every rehearsal.

What kind of scenarios are there?

Accepted Answer

Fifteen scenarios drawn from the moments people actually lose sleep over: saying no to a senior manager, declining extra work when overloaded, giving your first critical feedback, pushing back on an unrealistic deadline, aligning two teams who disagree, asking for a raise. Each is rated realistic, tough or easy — or build your own in a sentence and choose how hard they push back.

Do I need a password or a card to start?

No password and no card. You sign in with your email and a four-digit code, and the first rehearsal is free. Setup takes a minute: your name, your role and who you lead, so the characters address you properly and the scenarios fit your world.

Is what I say private?

Accepted Answer

Your voice is streamed to the AI during a rehearsal so it can respond in character, and it is never stored as audio. Transcripts and feedback stay private to your account, and you can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Deleting your account from inside the app removes your profile, transcripts, feedback and history. Uninstalling alone does not delete your account — sign back in on any phone and it is still there.

What platforms does Rehearse support?

Accepted Answer

iPhone (iOS 15 and later) and Android (Android 12 and later). Both share the same account, so your history and credits follow you.

Does it work in my language or accent?

Accepted Answer

Rehearse ships in English today. The characters understand accents well, and you do not need to speak perfectly — stumbling through the first attempt is rather the point.

Is Rehearse available in my country?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Rehearse is available worldwide on the App Store and Google Play. All you need is a microphone and a quiet minute.

Can I use it for conversations outside work?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Write your own scenario — it does not have to be about work. A difficult talk with a flatmate, a landlord or a parent rehearses the same way.

Can I read my transcripts afterwards?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every session keeps its full transcript and feedback in your history, and you can request a complete export of your data by contacting support.
